We are a group of dedicated students whose mission is to be hands-on future STEM leaders by studying courses in the fields of Engineering, Business, Green Energy, and Public Relations.

The Solar Car Challenge is a Solar Racing event hosted at the Texas Motor Speedway where high school solar teams from all over the country go to compete in the annual race. To win, your solar car must travel the most distance, powered solely by the sun!

Grandparents Day Event
As Grandparents Day begins, the Solar Team will be ready to greet guests including Team projects, the Apprentices showing off their cars, and the Team presenting the new 2024 Solar Car: The Sun Hunter II.

Winston Eclipse Party
The Winston Solar Academy is proud to host our first community event of the year as we welcome the 2024 Solar eclipse!
